Frequently asked questions
Do my files pass through a server?
No. A connection service only helps the two devices find each other using the code. The files travel directly between the devices over an encrypted WebRTC connection.
Is there a size limit?
There's no fixed limit, but very large files (several GB) are heavy for phones. Send them in batches if needed.
Why won't the devices connect?
Some mobile and office networks block direct connections. Put both devices on the same Wi-Fi, check the code and make sure the sender's page is still open.
Do I need to install an app?
No. It works in any modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer.
